If I were to run one- I’d do this one: Anchorage, Alaska- Summer Solstice
Since 1974, runners from all over the world have traveled to Anchorage, Alaska to participate in one of the most scenic and enjoyable marathons in the U.S., the Mayor’s Marathon & Half-Marathon. You’re invited to join more than 3,500 runners as they wind through Anchorage’s award winning trail system during Alaska’s summer solstice. The course offers scenic vistas and wildlife viewing opportunities as it travels from the foothills of the Chugach Mountains to the steely waters of Cook Inlet.
