1.From where do you draw the inspiration for your art?I tend to get obsessed with things- there’s a lot of repetition in mywork- i find a lot of inspiration online, i work a lot and i’m on thecomputer all the time. i’ve started collecting images of stuff stuckto walls. Stuff like paper and ribbon and cat hair and drawings andtorn things. That’s been my inspiration for a while.2.People recognize you as a successful designer but don’t know youwell as an artist. What’s it like for you having a bit of a hiddenside with your artwork? That’s nice, um, I guess I don’t like talking too much about my art. Itend to start making things up on the spot and it can be dangerous-but I’ve always made art. It inspires my design aesthetic and it’s arelief to do something that I have complete control over. It’s also agreat way to spend time.3.What style would you say your art is? Why do you choose to use that style? There is definitely an attempt to make art that is vague.  I try tostop before it’s too late. I prefer squares to circles most of thetime. I like things to look empty sometimes. I like messy things. Ihave no idea what style that all adds up to.4.What are your feelings going into the show?I’m really nervous- what if no one shows up- i will have to drink allof the champagne.5.What do you think people should be most excited about seeing?I drew a mouse on one of my pieces. It will be hard to find. Thatshould be exciting.
