11 am, Thurs., Apr. 23. Dallas Clayton, author and illustrator of An Awesome Book, will give a storytime reading for children and sign copies at Blue Bicycle Books. In the vein of Wes Anderson and Shel Silverstein, Awesome is a book about dreams: of animals with diamond-coated wings, of trumpet-playing raccoons, and of breakfast sandwiches. That last one is a dream that shall never go deferred, not on our watch. Reading starts at 11:30. Join us on the carpet. We’ll bring the juice boxes.
